It was a great day out on the sea around Capri! The ferry ride was quick and smooth. Our guide was friendly and told us a lot about Capri and the other town, Anacapri. Having free time on the island was a great addition because I got to explore whatever I wanted. All in all, it was a great day, so I definitely recommend this tour!
I had a lot of fun with our guide, she had lots of interesting stories, and not just about history, but about people and culture on Capri and in Campania. The views were incredible on the ferry already, but then our guide took us to a higher spot with an amazing view of the sea and the boats under us, stretching for miles!

Fun facts about Capri
- A road between Capri and Anacapri was built in the 19th century. Before that, Anacapri could only be reached from the sea by climbing up 800 stairs named the Phoenician Stairs.
- The Cathedral of Santa Sofia in Anacapri features a bell tower with two clocks. One is a modern 12-hour clock, and the other one is a 6-hour clock from 1600.
- Via Krupp is located close to the Gardens of Augustus. Krupp, a German industrialist, commissioned the building of a path from Marina Piccola, where he anchored his yacht, to the area close to his suite.
- The Faraglioni rocks all have individual names: Stella, Faraglione di Mezzo, and Faraglione di Fuori or Scopolo. The archway in one of the rocks is called the Arch of Love.
