We had a wonderful time on the boat tour and on the island! The captain (I forgot his name) told us lots of interesting stories and gave us great recommendations on what to do. The boat ride was relaxing, and I loved seeing the beautiful scenery, it's just so stunning! I definitely recommend going for a swim from the boat and finding a good vantage point. We went up to the mountain and had the best views!! Highly recommended!!!
This boat tour was totally worth the money! I loved seeing Capri, and I wish I lived closer so I could come back. My favorite was seeing the Faraglioni Rocks and stopping to go swimming! I also recommend finding a higher vantage point to see the island and the sea below you. I took the chairlift up the mountain and the view was amazing from there!

START YOUR DAY TRIP TO CAPRI
Emperors liked visiting Capri, and they used it as a resort during the Roman Empire. So, enjoy your boat tour and walk in the footsteps of Roman emperors! Start your group tour with a pick-up in Sorrento, board the boat, and enjoy amazing views of the Sorrento Coast and Vesuvius, which is most famous for the eruption that destroyed the town of Pompeii almost 2,000 years ago! Admire the views of the Gulf of Naples, relax onboard, and take in the sunshine as the boat glides on the waves to Capri. You will see its beauty from the boat, with your captain telling you about the island and its people.
CRUISE AROUND THE ISLAND
At Marina Piccola, depending on the selected option, the boat will drop anchor close to the Faraglioni Rocks, three spurs of rock rising about 100 meters from the sea. You can pass through an archway in one of them, called the Arch of Love, which is perfect for taking photos. Here, you can go for a swim in the clear blue sea! See Casa Malaparte, the house of the Italian writer Curzio Malaparte, one of the best examples of modern Italian architecture. See the White Grotto, named after the white limestone rock; the Green Grotto, with the reflecting light making the water look green; and the Natural Arch, another dramatic rock formation 18 m tall. Another great photo opportunity (just like the rest of Capri) is the Punta Carena Lighthouse. You can try some Limoncello, too! It's a liqueur made with lemons, and the Sorrento region is famous for it.
ENJOY FREE TIME TO EXPLORE OR RELAX
You can have free time on Capri exploring the island and its beautiful landscape. We'll provide you with a detailed map of Capri, and, depending on the option you select, you can enjoy up to 6 hours of free time. You can go to one of the beaches and relax, have coffee by the sea, or explore. Marina Grande has all the essential services and is the biggest beach. You can visit Villa Jovis, Emperor Tiberius's residence, or the Villa San Michele, which has an incredible view and a collection of archaeological findings. You can also take a chairlift, and in about 12 minutes, you're at the top of Monte Solaro, the island's highest point! You can take in the view of the Amalfi Coast and even the whole coast of Campania! You can walk around the town of Capri and visit Anacapri, a nearby town located higher up the mountain with breathtaking views. You can catch a bus and be there in about 10 minutes. On your way back, admire the Gulf of Naples once again and enjoy convenient transportation back to Sorrento.

Did you know that the Roman Emperor Tiberius loved Capri so much that he had twelve villas built on the island?
Only three of them have survived. The biggest one is the Villa Jovis, built in the 1st century AD. It featured large tanks for water so a shortage wouldn't occur. Villa Damecuta is located in Anacapri, and Emperor Augustus might have also lived there. Some believe that this villa was abandoned after Vesuvius's eruption in 79 AD. The final one is called Palazzo a Mare, a seaside villa. There, visitors can go for a swim or sunbathe on the beach.
